I truly believe that Fall is the most beautiful time of year. I always think of the song "God's Coloring Book" when I look across the hills and see the trees in all their color and beauty.
For these cards I also used Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Paper. I think it is gorgeous and perfect for Fall Cards. Both are colored with Prisma Pencils and OMS. I am working on coloring leaves to look more realistic. I'll get there ... LOL
There is a sale for 40% off everything at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at mygrafico. So it would be a good time to get these sets for your fall cards. Plus a couple of AWESOME new Christmas sets. The sale runs from midnight to midnight... all day Sept. 23rd.

D2D - Sew Kind
The image this week at Designed2Delight is "Sew Kind" and what a cutie it is.
I had planned on using the sketch at Double Delight but I forgot until after..LOL Oh well! I colored it with Prismas and OMS and used Scribbles for the flower centers. I stitched it all together on my sewing machine and added crocheted flowers and leaf with a button. Check out D2D ... Faith has awesome images. You can find all of her images here.

Daisy Doodles - "Keep It Simple" Challenge
The new challenge over at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges Blog is "Keep It Simple". We were challenged to do a card using only one (1) embellishment. I love the Clean and Simple Cards myself. With Fall fast approaching I am finding myself working on Fall cards. It is getting cooler here... but beautiful weather right now. 50's at night and 70's during the day. How perfect is that? Anyway I felt the urge to hang on to Summer a little longer... LOL. I chose the "Hammock" image from Daisy Doodles Summer Set for my card this time.
I have used this image several times. You can find this image as well as many others at Daisy's Digi Doodles Store. This time I did it a little differently. I have been watching the videos at Gina K.'s Stamp TV and cased one of her simple Christmas cards. (I've been casing her a lot lately) Very easy!
Supplies Used:
White Card Base ... Black Cardstock ... Cuttlebug Swirls Embossing Folder ... Black Ribbon ... $1 Clear Stamp for Sentiment ... Prisma Pencils ... OMS
Stop by and visit the rest of the DT blogs to see their cards. You can find them in the left sidebar here on my blog.
Just a reminder about some other things going on this month. There is a challenge (Open Theme) at the Daisy's Digi Doodles Forum with a nice prize. And also a contest to Design A Badge. Details are here. And Store Specials for the month.

D2D - "Oak Wreath"
This week we had another Fall Image from Faith over at Designed2Delight Delightful Inspiration. This one is called "Oak Wreath"
Forgive the photo...my camera batteries are dead and I haven't gone out to get more so I had to scan it. Also after I scanned it I realized that I didn't have another piece of DP that I had cut to use on this. It had the golds in it and was suppose to go behind the brown. Oh well...LOL Go over and check out Delightful Inspiration and get in on the fun. This card also qualifies for The Double Delight Challenge.
