I am keeping this post short.  I have to get up in about 3 1/2 hours and go to work :(    I have been working on dance costumes and am really tired.  I will try and get some pics to show you when I'm done.  I should be through in a couple of weeks. I work full time and do the costumes on the side.  So until next post have a great day (or night..lol)

Yep!  Post-It Notes...All of the images are Daisy Doodles.  The top one is also Daisy Doodles Designer Papers from the Blue Designer Paper Pack.  I am thinking that one is my favorite.  You can find all of Daisy Doodles products HERE.  I searched and found several tutorials but these are the 2 that I used:

Here's my card for the Designed 2 Delight Delightful Inspiration Challenge this week.

Another awesome image from Faith.  If you haven't been to her blog and shop you really need to check it out.   The challenge day is changing from Monday to Friday.  I really had fun with this card.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS and cut it out with oval nesties.  All of the papers are from Daisy Doodles.  They can be found here.  This is the Lilac Designer Pack. The wording is a clear dollar stamp from  Inkadinkadoo stamped with lilac ink.  I added a lt. lilac organza ribbon and some yellow Scribbles dots.
I hope you like my card.

Meet Sidney the Koala

I made this card for no other reason than I just felt like coloring Sidney.

Meet Sidney!  Isn't he cute...he looks quite pleased with himself.  I colored him with Prismacolor pencils and OMS, cut him out with oval nesties and inked around him with 3 different green inks.  I used 2 pieces of  CS, K&Co. and Daisy Doodles DSP ...all from my scrap basket.  Added 5 black dots and stamped for someone special  and he's done.

He just makes me smile  :)   How about you?

A Little Pink Basket

I have spent the last few days scouring the Whiff Of Jog Blog and found this little basket tutorial.  I have to say it was very quick and easy.

All it took was cardstock, paper, border punch, ribbon, glue, 2 brads and 2 buttons.  I used Daisy Doodles Designer Paper Pack - Pink for the basket and the flowers.  I am loving these papers.

These paper packs come in Pink, Blue, Lilac, Green and Yellow.  Each one has 20 different 2" x 2" papers that all coordinate together and can be mixed and matched..  I have successfully printed them up to 5 " x 7" which is perfect for cards.  They are only  $1.45 per pack.

I hope you like my little pink basket...they would be so cute for so many different things.

I am entering this in these challenges:

"Eggbert" and New Daisy Doodles Designer Paper Packs

This image is "Eggert" from Daisy Doodles.  But before I post my card I want to tell you what I'm doing.  Miss Daisy has brand new Paper Packs.  They are 2" square papers.  This week I am playing with the different packs.  There are 5 different packs...Blues, Yellows, Pinks, Greens and Lilacs.  On to the card:
There are 20 different papers in each pack.  For this one I chose the yellows.  Before you notice all the mistakes in this card..I will tell you that they are there..lol.  But my goal was to experiment with the papers.  I used Picassa 3 to print them.  The passport setting is the perfect 2x2 square.  But I also played around and was able to print them at wallet size up to 4x6 and not lose the quality.  On this card I think I used 6 of the different patterns.  I used them on the background and also to paper piece the image.  These are just perfect for paper piecing.  I also made the flower with them.  I am having a blast playing with these papers.  I used the blue pack in the previous post directly under this one.  The paper I used to print on was the really cheapie everyday copy paper.   I am back to work today but as soon as I can I am going to get a better paper to print on.  My mistakes on the card was due to the fact that my paper was really cheap and thin.  But even with that they printed out beautifully.  I still have 3 colors to play with.  WOOHOO!
So if you are interested in these DP Packs keep watching..I am going to be playing with them all.  You can see all of  them HERE.
