Thinking Of You with LSS

For my card this week for Lindsay's Stamps Stuff   I have used an image from one of my favorite sets.  I seem to have several favorite sets ... LOL!!  This is from Lindsay's "Birds and Branches" set.

Right now I am really liking white space on cards ... just really like the look.  I also seem to be using a lot of blue lately.  Not sure what's up with that.  Still determined to use up my stash before buying anything new .... everything came from what I had on hand.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.  The sentiment is from Studio G.

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Images can be found at mygrafico.  Check out Lindsay's Blog ... The Frugal Crafter ... for some amazing inspiration.  She has been posting a lot of video tutorials.  And she really is frugal !!  On Thursday's she posts a freebie and at the end of the week she'll have a round-up of the DT projects for this week.  You can find the Design Team Blogs in my right side bar.  More awesome inspiration!!

I am entering this in these challenges:
Partytime Tuesdays - #18 Anything Goes

LSS - Posh 'n' Trendy

I think my very favorite cards are the clean and simple ones.  When I first began using digi's .. for me it was all about the images.   As time went on I added more stuff and am now back to the less is more frame of mind.  I attempted a one layer card but wasn't real sure what constituted one layer.  Is the background considered a layer?  I am thinking yes.  Are embellishments such as ribbons or gems a layer?  I have no idea ....  but I'm thinking no.  Hopefully some of you will share your thoughts.

Anyway ... after all of that  (LOL) here is my attempt at a one layer card:

I just printed the image and sentiment out on the card base.  This is one layer ... right?!?    This image is from one of my very favorite digital stamp sets "Posh 'N' Trendy" from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.  You can find it at mygrafico Store.  The sentiment is from Raindrop Echoes HERE.

Visit Lindsay's Blog  .. The Frugal Crafter .. for tons of inspiration.  You'll find tutorials and lots of ideas and information on a lot of things.  Every Thursday she has a Freebie and at the end of the week a round-up of all the Design Team projects.  But id you don't want to wait until the end of the week you can visit their blogs located in my right side bar.

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

I had in my mind that I wanted to do Clean and Simple but couldn't decide on an image so I did three. Here is the first one:

I could have sworn that I had yellow ribbon (and I still think I do) but just couldn't put my hands on it so I finally just gave up and used card stock.  I would like this card much better if I had moved the image up and used yellow ribbon under it only.
This is the next one I did and I like it better.
And then a 3rd one:
I think I ended up using images from 4 different sets plus a sentiment freebie from Lindsay's Blog  "The Frugal Crafter".  They are all from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at mygrafico.  And they are having a SALE on Thursday (4-14). Here  are the sets I used:
Fancy Flowers  HERE

Steampunk Style  HERE

Sweet Stuff   HERE

All Around Phrases   HERE

Be sure to stop by and visit Lindsay's Blog to see what she has for you and get your freebie ...  and the rest of the Design Team Blogs for some awesome inspiration.  They are located in my right side bar.  Oh and almost forgot about the SALE at mygrafico . One Day Only.... so hurry!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Just For You Tags and a SALE

I have been doing a lot of sewing lately ... mostly gifts for the kids  ... so I wanted to make some tags for them.  But then I thought it would be good to have some on hand so I came up with tags that could be used for any of my sewing projects regardless of who they were for.  Here is what I came up with.

I am loving Lindsay's Sewing themed digi's.  This one is from her "Sew Pretty" set.  Check all of these images out.  Aren't they great!?!  Right now you can get them at a great price.  mygrafico is having a sale and the details are at the end of my post.

For my tags I printed the Spools out and paper pieced them.  I cut them out with a Labels One Nestie and stamped Just for you ... punched a hole and added the ribbon and they are done.  I wanted to do something that I could do multiples of relatively quick.

Adored

Today for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Thursday I used one of Lindsay's freebies.  You can still get it HERE.  It is also in Lindsay's Valentine Party Printables kit at mygrafico.  This is an awesome kit for the kid's Valentine Parties or for them to make their own for school.

LSS Thursday and a SALE

I used Lindsay's Stamp Stuff  "Posh 'n Trendy" Stamp set  for my card again this week. This is really a nice set.

I just love the little bird in his bird cage.  I did the little bit of coloring with no idea of paper or anything and when I went to choose this was one of the first papers I saw.  So I figured it was meant to be.  I couldn't find the right color of ribbon so I just used the yellow CS and paper.  Then I spotted a roll of some kind of burlap stuff and thought hmmm .... this could work.  Added a piece of sheer ribbon on top and done.  Very quick and easy.  These are not colors I would normally use but I have decided that I like them.  You can find this set HERE at  mygrafico.    And through Sunday Lindsay's having a Valentine Sweet Sale and everything is 30% off.  She has some pretty awesome stuff.

And if that isn't enough go and visit her Blog and get her Freebie this week.  Visit the Design Team Blogs and see what they have come up with this week.  I know you'll be glad you did.

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Thursday

Last week I didn't get to do my post for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff because my computer went haywire.  I was gonna use the card I had for last week this week but.... Lindsay had to go and do another NEW stamp set.  It is called "Posh -n- Trendy".  I love it!!!!  Here it is:

You can find it at mygrafico.  Here is my card.

I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.  I stitched around the outside.  The stitching is a little out of whack on the left side.  Kinda scary since I make my living with a sewing machine ... LOL.  I crocheted the flower with Embroidery Floss.

Be sure to stop by Lindsay's Blog and get your freebie and visit the rest of the DT Blogs and see their projects.  They are one bunch of talented Gals.  You are sure to be inspired.

LSS Valentine

Gosh it's hard to believe it's Thursday already.  Time for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff post.  Here is my card for today.

For this card I used an image from the "Love Grows Here" set.

You know how I like clean and simple .. LOL  I printed the image and partially colored it with chalk.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut with oval nesties.  I love black and white and it is so perfect for clean and simple.  I added a ribbon and 3 dots and done.

Be sure to check out Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at mygrafico to see this and her many other sets.  Don't miss Lindsay's blog and the other Design Team members blogs to see what they have for you.  And grab the freebie that Lindsay always has for you on Thursdays.
