I used the following sketch created by our own Lucy and colored the image with Watercolor Pencils and an aquabrush.  All the supplies are from my scrap basket and the sentiment was a stamp I picked up at Joann's from the $1.00 bin.  Love using up my scraps!

As I said...I am going on vacation.  WOOHOO!!!!!!!  I am heading to Florida to visit my Son, DIL and Grankids (so tonight I got lots of huggin' to do).  My birthday is Tuesday so I will get to spend it with my twin Brother ..  Roger.  I cannot tell you how excited I am!!!!  

And if all that isn't enough I am meeting up with 2 of my DT pals.  How cool is that !?!  I can't wait!  So Joanne and Lawren I will see the 2 of you Monday.  I am looking so forward to meeting the both of you!

Daisy Doodles Trick or Treat Halloween Blog Hop

SADDLE UP PARDNERS Blog Hop

My friend Joanne aka the Angel of Tombstone sent me a tutorial link for a side-step card and I added another side to it.  I used the papers Jules created to go with her "Freddy Goes Western" stamps.  I printed them out onto the cardstock for the card base based on the measurements on the side step instructions.  I cut and scored it to make the card.I then colored Freddy and Hoss and the cactus with prisma pencils and adhered them to the card.  I printed DD papers onto cardstock  for the candy bar matchbox and cut it out and scored it.  The sentiments are also Dasiy Doodles.

DAISY DOODLES BLOG HOP - Day 2

I must say that I am looking forward to today.  This is our first blog hop and I certainly had never organized one.  But we learn by doing and OMGosh I learned a lot today.  We had some minor problems but have managed to get them all lined out.   

So let me remind you of all the goings on...Tomorrow is the last day of the hop and the GRAND OPENING OF DAISY'S DIGI DOODLES.  She has a freebie for signing up for the News Letter.  I will share the new store link with you tomorrow.  There will be a SALE on everything in the store.  21% off....it is also her 21st wedding anniversary.

LSS Hop, Shop and Crop - Day 3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSAY'S STAMP STUFF!!

Now for my project.

I decided to make a set of Boxed  Note Cards.  I printed the images that I wanted to use and cut and embossed them with the largest Oval Scallop Nestie.  They are colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with OMS.  I then cut cards from the largest Oval Nestie and adhered the scallops to them.  I made envlopes to go with each one.  I then used the Folio template from the Recipe set  to make a box for them.  There is a svg file but I printed the template and printed it on CS and cut it out.  It worked out perfectly.  All of Lindsay's sets are really versatile.  These are going to be a gift for my Aunt.  I didn't embellish so they could be mailed using standard postage.
