Thank You Card

I have been sewing up a storm my off days this week .... trying to put back for our vacation to Florida this summer.  I managed to get a quick card made for Daisy Doodles this morning before I go to work.  This is one of Miss Daisy's older images that I have used several times but I still love it.  It's called "Poppy".

I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.   The sentiment is from Raindrop Echoes.  You can find this image as well as many others at the Daisy's Digi Doodles Store.  This post is short and sweet ... got a busy day ahead.  See you Soon!!!

DD "Rebecca"

Miss Daisy is on a roll with new stamps.  This is "Rebecca"

Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday.  It's like Christmas without the pressure and stress of presents.  Family gets together and just has a good time with lots of food.  What could be better?

This is my very first attempt at distressing the edges.  I have always just used ink.  I used scissors and I am thinking with practice I am going to like it.  I have always liked the distressed look but was afraid to try it.  I tend to lean towards CAS.  I colored her with my Prisma Pencils and OMS.  You can find her as well as some other brand new stamps at Daisy's Digi Doodles.

I am entering this in these challenges:
Charisma Cards  -  Autumn Colors
Fab 'n' Funky  -  Use a Digi Image

Daisy Doodles Challenge - Yellow and Cream or White

The challenge over at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges Blog is "Yellow and Cream or White".  Here's mine:

This oval easel template is from Ann Whitfield of  Crafty Ann's.  I love easel cards anyway and couldn't resist trying this one.  The image that I chose this time is "Sunflowers".  You can find it as well as many others at Daisy's Digi Doodles Store.

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS and mounted it on layers cut with Nesties and place on the oval easel card base.  The paper is from K & Company ...ribbon and sunflower button from stash.

Check out the rest of the DT's projects for some inspiration and then cruise over to Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge Blog and enter your project.
