2 Lindsay projects today!! WOOHOO!!!

It's Lindsay's day again!!  I did 2 projects for today but....before I show you I need to tell you that Lindsay is having a 40% off sale in her mygrafico store.   It will run until midnight.  Now on to my first project......  I really started this one for last week and changed my mind mid-stream and did the note cards.  Us crafters are like that..lol.  This uses her free vintage image that you can find on her blog here .....Post-It Note Holders........

There really wasn't anything to them...printed it in 6 different colors and just added the flowers and bows.  I love this image and it's free.   :)

Here is my 2nd project:
This card uses one of the images from her "Steampunk" Set.  This really is an awesome set and a great one for guy stuff.  I saw this sketch over at the Stamp TV blog and loved it.  I started with brown CS.  The BG paper is a page from a book in latin.  I crumpled it..inked it with linen distress ink..crumpled it again and inked it with a darker distress ink.  (Both by Tim Holtz)  I then used another piece of brown CS and a piece of tan CS inked with the darker distress ink and cut it out with a labels one nestie.  I then cut the image out with a smaller labels one nestie and layered it on the brown CS.  I used my paper crimper to make the ribbon out of a piece of scrap.  The sentiment stamps were from a set I got on clearance at Michael's a few years ago. I do not not remember the name.  I can probably find the package if you want to know.
This set is so awesome!  I want to use all the images at some point.  You can find it at mygrafico  here.  And if you want it you can get it for 40% off until midnight.

Be sure and check out all of the Design Team blogs.  They have some wonderful inspiration for you.    And don't forget to see what Lindsay has today for her freebie.  She also has a tutorial for you on photocopy transfers.
