Charlie and Holly Easel Card

This is my very first Easel Card.    Another image by Jules.

I am amazed how quick and easy this style of card is.  I'm sure I'll be making more of these.  Tutorial links are at the end of this post.  I used Prisma Pencils and OMS to color Charlie and Holly.  You can't really see it good but I used faux flower soft on all of the snow areas and some diamond stickles.  I made the poinsettia with a CB retro flower die.  I hope you like it.

I really need to work on getting better photographs.

Gobble-Gobble-Gobble

One more and I am off to bed.   The morning brings a work day and "Black Friday"   UGH!!

This is an image from Pink Cat Studio again colored with Prismas and OMS.  The background paper is from
Lindsay Weirich of Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.

I am really calling it a night now......LOL.   Bye for now.

Pink Tri-Shutter Card

I have been wanting to try this template for a long time and it came up in a swap so I decided to give it a try.  And you know what?...IT WAS FUN!!!  I will be making more of these.

The image is a freebie from Simply Inger.  I colored it with Prismas  and OMS.  The quote is a Tim Holtz stamp from Michaels...paper and flowers from my stash...Martha Stewart border punch...and Scribbles for the dots.  You can find the tutorial here.  The next one is a pic of the same card closed.

I really enjoyed making this card.  Gosh I hope you like it.    See ya next time.

Uh-Oh Charlie

I think Charlie is just the cutest!  Can you see him hiding?  This is another image by Jules. You can find her here  I colored him with Prismas and OMS.  I'm just using paper from my stash.  It doesn't show up but I used Diamond Stickles on the trees and snowflakes.  I hope you like him.

I am off to work on some swaps.  See ya next time.

A Pic

Hi again..This post is not card or craft related.  Just a picture I wanted to  post.  I work as a Tailor for The Men's Wearhouse.  If you haven't seen the commercials it won't mean anything but if you have you will recognize the man in the center.  In the commercials he says "You're going to like the way you look...I guarantee it"!  He is George Zimmer the CEO of the company.  He came to our little store on Monday for a visit.  For us it was really a big deal.

Here's the picture:
From left to right is John ( my boss and friend), Jessica, GEORGE,  Me, and my good friend Jon.  I just had to post this..lol.

This page is also a work in progress.

I work full time as a Tailor in a Men's Clothing Store.  Every year I also work with a Dance Studio making costumes for their annual production.  Altering clothing for 8 to 10 hours a day does not allow for any creativity.  Although is is a lot of hard work and very little sleep for a couple of months..... when I attend the production and see my work on stage it makes it all worthwhile.  They always contact me after the first of the year and I have until the end of April to complete them.  This year I have 45 costumes to make for "Welcome To The Jungle" and 19 for "Stupid Cupid".  As I get them I will post pics for you to see.
