The Challenge this time over at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges is to use a Sentiment as a focal point and Red. I didn't get around to making my card until today and when I went to print I was out of ink. So I decided to do a digital card.
The Sentiment is from a FREE set over at Daisy's Digi Doodles. The papers are Daisy's too. I can't remember where the ribbon and bow came from so if anyone knows leave a comment so I can give credit. I did this card in PSE. When I get my ink I think I will print this for my DH for Valentine's Day.
Be sure to visit the rest of the Design Teams Blogs and see there beautiful cards. You can find them in my left sidebar <<<<<<<.
Then go to Daisy's Digi Doodles and get your FREE Sentiment set and enter the challenge for a chance to win a Gift Certificate.
Challenges:
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Valentine
Doodle Pantry - Love
Creatalicious - Ribbon and Love
Aud Sentiments - Love Sentiment

Hats for Cierra
My Granddaughter Cierra lives in Florida and of all the things she could ask for ... she asked for hats. Go figure. They must be the in thing right now among the the middle school set. She asked me to make her some Beanies so I went through my yarn stash. She requested pink and white and whatever else I wanted to do. Since Christmas my Creative Spirit has been lacking so I have been knitting and crocheting ... Hats. I HAVE to do something while watching TV. Just thought I show you a few of them.
The red and blue hats are knitted and the brown, pink and white ones are crocheted. I sure hope she likes them.
I tried to start a sewing blog a few years ago and just couldn't get to far with it. Couldn't get into the blogging part. I have tons of sewing projects so I figured why not incorporate them here. I tend to sew when my muse decides to travel. Anyway you will probably be seeing many more of my non-paper related projects. I hope you don't mind. :)
Have a good day and thanks so much for coming by,
Rhonda

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Thursday
Last week I didn't get to do my post for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff because my computer went haywire. I was gonna use the card I had for last week this week but.... Lindsay had to go and do another NEW stamp set. It is called "Posh -n- Trendy". I love it!!!! Here it is:
You can find it at mygrafico. Here is my card.
I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I stitched around the outside. The stitching is a little out of whack on the left side. Kinda scary since I make my living with a sewing machine ... LOL. I crocheted the flower with Embroidery Floss.
Be sure to stop by Lindsay's Blog and get your freebie and visit the rest of the DT Blogs and see their projects. They are one bunch of talented Gals. You are sure to be inspired.

Dinosaur Love
Daisy Doodles has a new stamp set that is the cutest!! A set of adorable Dinosaurs (named after my DT Pal Joannes Sister .. Carol). They are called "Carosaurus". You can find them at Daisy's Digi Doodles Store. There are 3 of them in the set so with Valentine's Day approaching I used this one.
The Challenge over at Daisy Doodles is "Anything Goes" so grab your Daisy Doodles image and join us at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges.
The sentiment is a from a Freebie set at Daisy's Digi Doodles. You can find it HERE.
I used Card Stock from a Valentine Stack I got a couple of years ago for the card base. The heart is cut from the center of a heart doily and the buttons and ribbon rose are from my stash. I colored her with Crayola Crayons and Goo-Gone.
I've been struggling for a couple of months with Cardmaking. My MOJO seems to have left the building. I have been having major computer issues and it has fought me every step. But I am not giving in!!!!
I am entering this card in these challenges:
Whoopsi Daisy - Valentine and Love
Penny's Paper Crafty - Anything Goes
Lexi's Creations - Valentines
Craft Your Days Away - LOVE
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Valentine

LSS Valentine
Gosh it's hard to believe it's Thursday already. Time for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff post. Here is my card for today.
For this card I used an image from the "Love Grows Here" set.
You know how I like clean and simple .. LOL I printed the image and partially colored it with chalk. The sentiment is computer generated and cut with oval nesties. I love black and white and it is so perfect for clean and simple. I added a ribbon and 3 dots and done.
Be sure to check out Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at mygrafico to see this and her many other sets. Don't miss Lindsay's blog and the other Design Team members blogs to see what they have for you. And grab the freebie that Lindsay always has for you on Thursdays.

Daisy Doodles "Past or Present"
Happy New Year to All. This is the first challenge of the New Year over at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges. The challenge is "Past or Present". I am trying to locate my muse ... so if you see her could you send her home?!? ... so I have used a card from the past.
The "Tulips" are definitely one of my all time favorite stamps. There are 3 stamps in this set. Makes me wish for Spring. You can see them at Daisy's Digi Doodles. I didn't realize it when I chose my "Past" card but this is the card I used for the very first Daisy Doodles Challenge last February. Kind of ironic huh? HERE is the original post.
